Oil spill threatens Wyre coast

The spill is currently projected to hit St Annes and Fleetwood coasts in the next day or two.

The pipeline, which connects two oil installations in the Irish Sea, had a failure about 20 miles from the coast of North Wales, and will affect a huge amount of overwintering birds in the North West.
