About the event

What do barrel, moon and compass all have in common? They are all types of jellyfish found in UK waters, and if you spot any on your next trip to the beach, scientists want to hear about it.

As part of its nationwide project Jellywatch, the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) is asking people in the UK and Ireland to report any jellyfish they see, either in the water or washed ashore. We are holding this information session on how to identify common British jellyfish species and how to report sightings to MCS. Come along for a fun and informative hour to find out more.
